It was around the end of March 2000 that we left Australia and headed to Kuala Lumpur, Malaysia. We spent the next 3 months wondering through Malaysia, Borneo, Thailand, Laos, Cambodia and Vietnam.
It was an amazing trip. Borneo was great, full of jungles, and monkeys, and mountains. Everywhere was great, and the the people we met (fellow tourists, and the locals) were mostly friendly and helpful.
I guess the highlights for us would be Borneo, The Perhentian Islands of Malaysia, Laos, and Anchor Wat in Cambodia.
